David Ruiz joined The Cosmonaut in December 2024. He currently serves as a staff writer. He is a dedicated and ambitious student, who is involved in various leadership roles. He serves as the Vice-President of his school’s National Honor Society, a Student Ambassador for the Lewis Center for Educational Research, and a member of California State Senator Eloise Gomez Reyes’ Young Senators. Outside of his leadership duties, David enjoys spending time reading, and painting miniature figurines.
